MMF, Svetska banka i 20 najvećih ekonomija kreiraju pravila za digitalne valute centralnih banaka

Međunarodne finansijske institucije i 20 najvećih svetskih ekonomija uspostavljaju zvanične standarde za regulisanje i izdavanje digitalnih valuta centralnih banaka. Do kraja 2022. godine bi trebalo da završe regulatorne okrive za “stabilcoin”.
Nakon vesti da je Kina građanima Šenžena podelila digitalne juane, kako bi testirala njihovo funkcionisanje, dolazi izveštaj koji su sastavili ministri finansija i guverneri centralnih banaka 19 zemalja i Evropske unije (G20), Međunarodni monetarni fond (MMF), Svetska banka i Banka za međunarodna poravnanja (BIS).

U njemu se navodi kako bi stabilcoin trebalo da bude zamenljiv postojećim novčanim oblicima, da podseća na gotovinu u jednostavnosti upotrebe, ali i da njegovo korišćenje ne stvara trošak ili da on bude mali.
Sistemi digitalnih valuta centralnih banaka (CBDC) bi trebalo da se povežu s nasleđenim finansijskim tehnologijama, tako da u svakom trenutku namiruju velike količine transakcija. Takođe, treba da se pridržavaju propisa i nadzora koji se primenjuju na novac koji je već u opticaju, kao i da glavnu reč imaju centralne banke. Ono što je važno, jer se sve odigrava u digitalnom prostoru, jeste da bude otporan na hakerske napade i druge tehničke izazove.
CBDC sistemi bi mogli da poboljšaju prekogranična plaćanja, ali bitna razlika u odnosu na klasične digitalne valute, poput Bitcoina, jeste ta što se iza ovog sistema ne nalazi blokčejn tehnologija anonimnih učenika, već centralna banka, koja ima nadzor nad svim transakcijama.
Evropska centralna banka i Banka Japana su takođe izjavile da razmatraju izdavanje digtalne valute. U Japanu bi digitalni jen trebalo da se testira na proleće, a za sada nema naznaka kada bi i evro mogao da dobije svoj digitalni pandan. Za to vreme u Srbiji se raspravlja o Zakonu o digitalnoj imovini.
